We offer many types of passes so guests of all ages can enjoy Nemours Estate. We do accept ACCESS and Museums for All EBT cards. For questions about your visit, please email us.
Important: Tuesday - Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last entry is 4 p.m. The Mansion, Chauffeur's Garage, and Gift Shop close at 4:30 p.m.
Photoshoot Policy: Photo session reservations are now required 3 weeks in advance. Please email us to request a reservation.

The entrance is located on the campus of Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. Follow signs for Nemours Estate. Parking lots cannot accommodate buses.
Group Tours
Group tours of 15 or more people are scheduled Tuesday–Friday and receive a discounted rate. Final guest count and full payment are due two weeks before the scheduled tour date. Contact our tour office to make your group’s arrangements.
Plan Your Visit
Nemours Estate is a self-guided experience in the Mansion, Chauffeur’s Garage and the Gardens. Guides and staff are located throughout the property and buildings to share information and answer questions. Guided walking tours and shuttle garden tours are offered April–October. Please inquire upon arrival at the Welcome Center.
Photography and Photoshoot Permit
Nemours Estate is a popular setting for photo sessions and to help ensure every guest has a memorable experience, we are sharing our updated policy and procedures for special occasion, professional, and photoshoot photography.

We are available to transport guests if needed, but comfortable walking shoes are strongly encouraged.
The Mansion and Chauffeur’s Garage are self-guided, but Estate guides are stationed throughout the property to share information and answer questions. Garden walking tours and shuttle tours are offered April–October, please inquire upon arrival.
Families with children of all ages will find something fun to discover at Nemours Estate. Baby-changing facilities and breastfeeding areas are available in the Mansion. Strollers are permitted in the Gardens, but not inside the Mansion. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
The Mansion is ADA-accessible, as are the paved roads which run through the property; however, the gardens and grounds are not.
Pets are not permitted, but service animals (as defined by the Americans With Disabilities Act) are permitted if such animals are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for individuals with disabilities.
Water is available for guests and picnics are encouraged. Please bring a blanket to spread on the ground to enjoy the Gardens as there are limited picnic tables available.
Photography and videography are permitted in the Mansion and Gardens for guests to document their visit. Full photo policy is below:
All photography is at the discretion of Nemours Estate. All guests must pay admission to enter. Professional style shoots are permitted ONLY in the Gardens and now require a reservation (email Estate@nemours.org). Non-occasion photography is allowed inside the Mansion, but tripods, selfie sticks, and other equipment are not permitted.
The gift shop is located next to the Mansion inside the Laundry Building. The gift shop opens at 11 a.m. and closes 30 minutes before the grounds close.
We do not permit weddings, receptions, or other private events.
