Open April 1st – December 30th with business hours Tuesday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Last entry is 4 p.m.)

A Legacy for Children's Health
We share our campus and legacy with caring for children at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware. Alfred I. duPont's philanthropy and vision created The Nemours Foundation which has grown and evolved into one of the largest children's health systems in the country today.

We are available to transport guests if needed. This is easily arranged when you arrive at the Estate.

Self-guided with trained interpretive staff available. Guided walking and shuttle garden tours are offered April – October, please inquire upon arrival.

Children of all ages will find something fun to discover at Nemours Estate. Baby changing stations are located in the Mansion. Strollers are permitted in the Gardens only. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times.

The Mansion and paved roads throughout the property are ADA-accessible, however, the gardens and grounds are not.

Water is available for guests and picnics are encouraged. Please bring a blanket to spread on the ground, picnic tables are not available.

Professional and group photo shoots are not permitted in the Mansion. Large equipment, props and costumes, and use of facilities are not allowed.

Only service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act are permitted if such animals are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for individuals with disabilities.
